A local gym serving the people of sellersville and surrounding
Formerly in the center of Perkasie, PA on Market Street, Metal Health Gym first opened its doors in 1993 with the goal of providing an affordable community fitness facility for the Pennridge area.
In 2019, Metal Health Gym moved its facility to Suelke’s, the familiar property on Bethlehem Pike. Shane and Staci Dam purchased the business in 2019 and have made many improvements to the facility. The site has a large parking area and increased square footage to accommodate more people, keeping the machinery readily available.
The OWNERS
Shane has always loved physical fitness and football growing up. In fact, he had played for Western Connecticut University for two years (while obtaining his business degree) before transferring to University of Delaware where he met Staci, his future wife. Shane went on to advance through the ranks of the restaurant business before he opened his first restaurant in 2011, Dam Good Café, which focuses on healthy, homemade meals. In 2017, Shane and Staci expanded to open a second café, Café @ the Mill, which again focuses on eating well even while dining out.
